A. Bone Folder: Used to fold paper and smooth out air bubbles.

B. Bookboard: The hard cover of the front and back cover. It is usually covered with fabric.
C. End Paper (1/2 of the Flyleaf): A folded sheet of paper, 1/2 of which is glued to the inside front or back cover of the book. The other leaf extends freely and serves as the first or last page of the book

D. Flyleaf (1/2 of the End Paper): The free 1/2 of the end paper. It forms the first and last page of the book.

I. Tab: Corner: See-through adhesive used to strengthen a book corner.

J. Tab: Wing: See through adhesive used to strengthen the top of bottom of the spine.

K. Tape (Four different types)

Four-flapped tape also known as single-stitched tape is a cloth tape used to repair a broken hinge. It contains 4 flaps.

Release backing cloth tape has paper backing which is taken off prior to attaching the tape to the book's cover.
Double hinge tape has a paper backing. Half of the backing can be removed while the other half can remain on the tape and removed at a later time.
Hinge cloth tape can be folded in 1/2, long ways. It is very useful for repairing a loose signature.
L. Weights can easily be made by taking a sock an placing a brick inside.
